Turkish Coffee Grinder - Late 18th Century
Coffee grinder with a wooden body, enhanced with fine brass plaques.
On the front, an attached pank allowed the object to be held steady while grinding the coffee.
The wrought iron crank is engraved with an Arabic inscription and ends in a horn handle.
Wear consistent with repeated use.
The drawer intended to collect the ground coffee is missing.
