Reflections on the Seine occupy the foreground, a small steamer is docked on the quay on the right. The buildings of the Île de la Cité occupy the center of the painting, we can see the towers and the spire of Notre-Dame.
The bridges form a horizontal line in the middle of the work. On the left, the Saint Jacques tower stands against the sky.
The work is signed and dated 1947 lower left. It is in very good condition, clean, without restorations. It is offered in a gilded molded wooden frame (some gilding defects on the right side).
This work was painted by Richard Raimbault, a painter active in Paris between 1930 and 1950. Several of his works were purchased by the State.
