Lovely Wooden Painting, Michel Zimmermann, Provençal Woman, Cassis 20th Century

Very pretty scene of life, painted on a wooden panel, representing a Provencal woman in traditional dress, at the edge of a creek, located in Cassis. Beautiful juxtaposition of slightly curved twin touches that the artist calls "Ondulism". A well-referenced painter with academic training, he travels to many regions, in order to always be in contact with the subject, and is an outdoor painter, creating many scenes of life and/or landscapes. Well signed in the lower left corner "M.Zimmermann", modern frame taking up the colors of the painting. Marked on the back with the location and the name of the artist. Excellent condition, no break or flaw.
