"Renaissance Style Enamel And Gold Woman Profile Brooch, 19th Century"
This delicate round brooch is adorned with superb enamel (probably Limoges) concave on gold foil which represents a profile of a woman with long hair on a black background, wearing a hairstyle richly decorated with gold details and translucent red enamel, the dress decorated with the same. Unmarked gold setting and pin, tested 14 carat with a touchstone. C-shaped clasp system and long pin perfectly functional.
PERFECT CONDITION, late 19th century period circa 1880, Renaissance style.
