These rare masks are artistically very close to cubist works, with their beautiful black and white two-tone and geometric lines, the two large pierced ears, the threatening teeth... It is a war mask worn by the shaman during combat to frighten the enemy, their name pongdudu meant: who frightens the enemy. Height 31 cm, wear, traces of wood-eating, beautiful old patina of use, first half of the last century.
