This pretty traditional bungalow with its veranda and four-sloped roof is buried in lush vegetation with a palm tree in front of it. We are probably in Senegal because Gustave Fontaine left many paintings illustrating life in this West African country. We are in the 40s / 60s, the beautifully crafted frame illustrates this period well.
