Exceptional Wedgwood lustre “Melba Cup” by Daisy Makeig-Jones, showcasing the rare Z5294 hummingbird and geese pattern on a rich mottled blue and orange lustre ground. Makeig-Jones's lustrewares are among the most collectible in British ceramics, with increasing demand and rising values among collectors and museums. Early, hand-numbered edition, Portland vase mark, “Made in England”.
