A student of Jean-Léon Gérôme and Luc-Olivier Merson, we owe him essentially views of Martigues, Corsica, Provence, Vaucluse and Poitou which he exhibited among others, at the Salon des artistes français, (of which he will become a member) at the Salon d'automne, at the Salon des indépendants, Salon des Tuileries and at the Salon d'hiver where In 1929 he showed the paintings Le Pont Benézet (Avignon), Port de Calvi and Les Baigneuses. He also exhibited with Jehan Berjonneau at the Atelier français in Paris in March 1929.
