Superb silver-gilt tea service dating from the late 19th century.
The service is housed in a blackened wooden case inlaid with brass threads and a floral motif. The interior is lined with light blue fabric. The key is unfortunately missing.

. Twelve spoons decorated with an interlacing frieze and a semi-circular pattern
. A sugar tong ending in lion paws and featuring the same decoration as the spoons

. A tea strainer
Each piece is hallmarked:
. Minerva, 2nd grade for 800/°° silver since 1838
. Goldsmith's hallmark: PQ with an antique oar for Pierre Queillé
The Queillé family is a prominent goldsmith family, and this hallmark was used by Eugène François Queillé, active from 1847 to 1880, and his son Elvire, active from 1874 to 1895.
