This work is by the hand of Philippe Cara-Costea who, like Commère, Lorjou, Jansem, and many other painters representing the "Young Painting", appeared in the various "Parisian Salons" and shared with them the walls of the galleries in Paris defending this artistic movement.
Philippe Cara-Costea was born on September 16 in Méréville to a Romanian father and a French mother.
He died in Saclas on December 31, 2006.
He entered the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, then the Académie de la Grande Chaumière, in the studio of Othon-Friesz.
He obtained a state scholarship in 1955.
He participated in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad :
