Flared baluster shape, each vase rests on a circular pedestal, itself mounted on a square base. The high, flared neck is highlighted with a gilt frieze. The scrolled handles end in stylized palmettes and are finely decorated with lion mascarons in relief. DURE porcelain White ground with polychrome decoration, on the main face of each vase, a circular medallion bordered with wide gold threads, depicting a lively scene of children: One of the children is seated in a refined interior, on an Empire chaise longue, playing with a doll. The other is composing a bouquet of flowers in a basket, in a garden bordered by cypresses, under a theatrical pink canopy. The reverse of each vase features a stylized golden escutcheon, framed by a laurel wreath. A golden garland of foliage adorns the shoulder.
