A PARIS porcelain CUP AND SAUCER - EARLY 19TH CENTURY. Pink ground decorated with trophies of utensils (brooches, skimmer, grill, ribbons) in sepia monochrome highlighted with gold. In the center of the cup, a large polychrome reserve depicting an inn scene after Teniers: a peasant woman in a headdress holding a bowl, near a small barrel and a jug, against a background of rustic architecture. Wide gold lines on the rim. The saucer is matching: a compartmentalized rim alternating pink panels with trophies of utensils and two reserves decorated with still lifes (jugs, tankard). The center, with a white ground, is decorated with a large gold disc. Wide gold lines on the rim.
