Six Limoges Porcelain Plates, Designed By The Sèvres Industrial Arts Department.

This series features the famous designs of the Service des Arts Industriels, created for the Sèvres Manufactory between 1820 and 1835 under the leadership of Alexandre Brongniart. A true tribute to the artistic crafts and expertise of French manufacturers, this prestigious set illustrates the various stages of production for works of art and porcelain. The six plates thus feature several iconic workshops, including those of the molders, potters, enamellers, sculptors, and other artisans involved in the various stages of production. These compositions, rich in historical detail, offer a valuable insight into the organization of French manufactories in the early 19th century.

Crafted from Limoges porcelain, the plates are adorned with an elegant border of blue and gold fillets that highlight the central scenes, rendered with great finesse and delicacy.

The reverse bears the mark of the Ancienne Manufacture Royale de Limoges, accompanied by a text noting that this factory, founded in the 18th century and later incorporated into the Bernardaud group in 1986, continues to produce designs inspired by the most prestigious French works, notably those of the Manufacture de Sèvres.

Each plate is presented in its original cardboard box, which is also in very good condition. The set is in excellent condition.
