Large and beautiful impressionist painting dating from the 1950s which represents a luminous night view of the Boulevard de Clichy in Paris...The work is signed by the Italian artist Dino Zampogna (1926-2016) about whom we can find information on the web and in particular other views of famous districts of Paris...this seems to have been his favorite theme... Note: one of the attractions of the painting offered here is that it is an animated night view, with characters and lighting effects quite well felt. This reflects an almost magical atmosphere of Paris By Nyght: night views seem rarer in the production of this artist who was certainly influenced by Constantin Korovine (1861-1939) who was a good specialist in this kind of Parisian view...
