Folk Art from Scandinavia, Norway: Precious circular wooden box with carved decoration on the lid and on the body of acanthus scrolls. Extremely fine: 4mm thick. Work carried out around 1900. The lid is composed of two pieces assembled in a dovetail. The ring, although hand-carved, is perfectly circular. Beautiful "warm" patina. Perfect condition, rare. Height to the rim 5cm.
