Pewter Pitcher, Late 18th Century
Truncated conical pewter pitcher, late 18th century.
This large pitcher (or measuring jug?) is 32 cm tall with a base diameter of 14 cm. It is hallmarked with an angel on the bottom, the handle, and the lid.
Beautifully crafted—it might be from southern Germany?
In good condition despite a small chip at the base, which could be repaired by a skilled amateur.
