Arch Clock Gilt Bronze Directoire Period Empire XVIII Early XIXth Century
Important Directoire period arch clock in gilt bronze and black Belgian marble base, representing two winged victories on either side of a trophy formed by a bow, a torch and a quiver (attributes of Eros). A pair of birds decorates the shock absorber, perched on a laurel branch.
