"Louis XVI Style Bronze Clock"
Superb finely chiseled bronze clock, typical of the Louis XVI style, dating from the 19th century. This model is distinguished by its rich ornamentation: stylized decorations with foliage motifs, garlands, scrolls and mascarons, framed by small columns and enhanced with applied heads. Surmounted by an ornamental vase with openwork handles and adorned with heads in relief, this clock rests on a finely decorated tripod base. The enameled dial features Roman numerals and a richly sculpted surround. The pendulum movement is complete. A fine example of 19th century decorative clockmaking, combining classical elegance and craftsmanship.
