Kadjar Candlestick Circa 1900-190, Silver-plated Copper And Bronze, Iran, Very Good Condition

Rare Persian column candlestick, the whole finely hand-opened, in silver-plated copper, chiseled with floral motifs, roses, cartouches decorated with horsemen.
The four cartouches are adorned with long pendants in the shape of halberds in length.
The torch has an epigraph decoration accompanied by characters inscribed in cartouches.
The base is placed on four bronze feet. From the beginning of the 20th century around 1900 - 1920.
Work of immense finesse, beautiful two-tone patina, splendid collector's item. Wear from use.

The Kadjar or Kadjar dynasty (Qājār, Qadjar, Qajar, Persian: قاجار) is a Turkmen dynasty that reigned over Iran from 1786 to 1925.
The finesse of the carvings shows the dexterity of Persian engravers.
These wonderful brasses and coppers, were under the Safavid or Kadjar dynasties, an eminent alternative to silver and they enjoyed the same status. These objects certainly lived as the centerpieces of Persian houses.
