Bodice With Wool And Machine Lace Facing - Late 19th Century | Early 1900s

Mechanical lace bodice embellished with a heathered wool facing. Four decorative trimmings feature faux buttoning on the front of the piece. Long sleeves with three small yellow and black celluloid buttons on each cuff housed in a cream-colored cord braid. High collar in mechanical tulle. 

Condition: Good general state of conservation. Solid structure without fragility of materials or seams. Note some marks of use, notably under the armpits - more marked inside the bodice than in the visible parts - The cuffs and collar show slight marks from a garment that has been worn. The interior part shows very slight signs of use, but it is also in good condition. Good general appearance.
