The artist’s perfectionist approach demands time, patience, and above all meticulous precision. His works, often created over very long periods, display a high degree of complexity and technical refinement. Each painting is its own research project on the effects of color – a mathematical, scientific exploration aimed at achieving a perfected aesthetic.

For the viewer, there are two possible paths: one may trace the artist’s working method through the strict structural order, or simply allow oneself to be captivated by the final result. For, as the artist says,
“Ultimately, the viewer does not need to know how the paintings are constructed. I believe a painting speaks for itself if it is good. And whatever insight or boredom someone gains from it is beyond my control anyway. I can only do my work – and I have done so with meticulous dedication for decades.”
