Max Clarenbach (1880–1952) – Original Etching "Winter in Wittlaer" – Hand-Signed – Düsseldorf School of Painting
Offered is an original etching by the renowned German landscape painter Max Clarenbach (1880–1952), one of the leading representatives of the Düsseldorf School of Painting.
The composition depicts the characteristic Lower Rhine landscape around Wittlaer, with pollard willows, water reflections and a traditional farmhouse. These atmospheric winter scenes are among Clarenbach's most sought-after works and perfectly capture the poetic landscape tradition of the Lower Rhine.
The print is titled "Winter in Wittlaer" in pencil and signed "Professor Max Clarenbach" in pencil.
