Showcase For Collection Mid-19th Century To Hang
Charming hanging display case, for storing a collection of small objects, from the second quarter of the 19th century. It is made of light wood, with pretty fillets and very dark mahogany borders. A pretty volutà cornice adorns the object. The glass door closes with its original key. A strong bronze suspension at the back allows it to be hung on the wall, there must have been the same fixing at the bottom which has disappeared. We should note a few small minor gaps. The whole thing is functional and in very good general condition (we imagine it filled with old snuff boxes or all kinds of diminutives).
