Pair Of 18th Century Religious Bas Relief

lovely pair of bas reliefs in gilded and polychrome carved wood from the 18th century, representing religious scenes. The first represents Jesus and Saint John the Baptist still babies, the second Saint John the Baptist with a sheep. The adorable toddlers are inscribed in carved gold and silver wooden hearts. This work from the Baroque period is Mediterranean, probably Spanish, but charms with its popular and tender side. These are elements of woodwork, which had to be included in a larger architecture. Good condition.
