Primitive Bird Snuff Box, Carved Burrl Wood, Folk Art, Europe Circa 1800

Very nice little piece of folk art. Sculpted from burrl wood, (probably Amboyna), this pretty snuff box, carved into the mass, represents a bird, surely a partridge. The bird's tail made it possible to snuff tobacco, with the right dose. Beautiful genuine patina of use.
Average condition, to be restored, obvious absence of the lid, but beautiful sincere item, deserves anyway to be.
European working, dating from the end of the 18th century or the very beginning of the 19th century.
