Pair Of Bronze Candlesticks, Silvered, Louis XV Style And Probable Period, France 18thc-19thc

Resting on a scalloped base, with a high border and a row of pearls, a pretty pair of candlesticks. According to the size and shape, they would be toilet candlesticks, to which the bobeches are absent, but which still have traces of silver plating, underneath. I have doubts about the period, but they are of beautiful made, bell sound when making them ring, pretty screw thread.
Very good general condition, except for the absence of silver plating on the candlesticks, to be cleaned, returned from buying fair!
European working, probably French, dating from the second part of the 18th century, or early 19th century.
