Decorative Plate Terracotta Siderolith, 4 Colors, Johann Maresch, Ca.1900, Tavern Scene

Very pretty decorative plaque, for wall hanging. In terracotta, called siderolithic earth, a Bohemian earth whose different aspects can take on the different patinas of bronze without enamel or glaze. Here in 4 colors, the subject represents a country tavern scene, in a black frame with leave decoration. On the back, light off-white enamel, holes for hanging, and Signature with the JM mark in hollow, numbered 223.
Very good general condition, note 2 small chips, re-blackened, mentioned by blue arrows. Other microscopic chips, without gravity, difficult to see, even on my detailed photos. Please look at them carefully, I am not hiding anything!
