Elm Crockery Cradle With Beautiful Turnings, Languedoc, 19th Century

Rare object to find, still in a warm condition, a cradle to carry dishes for dinners in garden, cutlery, glasses and plates, easy to carry, easy to put down, easy to clear.
The carrier cage, from beautiful elm wood, with barred sides rests on 4 columns with beautiful turnings, well pegged top and bottom. Bottom, less durable, as we say today, is made of more vulgar wood, and rustically nailed.
It should have been possible to change it at the slightest weakness.
Condition: superb, the bottom shows traces of fatigue, some worm holes..
