"Cobalt Blue Glass Goblet Decorated With A White Band, Folk Art, Late 18th - Early 19th Century"
Antique goblet in deep cobalt blue glass, barrel-shaped, decorated with very fine applied lines, the rim edged with white glass. Thick, slightly inward-curving base with some irregularities and air bubbles. Maker unknown, late 18th - early 19th century. Dimensions: height approximately 7 cm, diameter 5.8 cm. A chip is visible in the base, as seen in the photographs. I also note two tiny chips, one inside the edged rim, the other about one millimeter in size, on the glass line. The white glass decoration is generally well preserved, with only very minor chips.
