Blown Glass Birdbath With Blue Ball - Folk Art, Late 18th - 19th Century
A blown-glass birdbath featuring a distinctive hollow sphere of blue-tinted glass set on a collar at the top, a deeply inward-sloping base, and a charmingly irregular bowl at the front. Late 18th or early 19th century. Dimensions: height 15 cm - depth 9 cm. The glass is of fine quality with numerous small air bubbles. Overall, it is in good condition, with no watermarks. There is a small, barely visible crack, likely original, in the blue glass sphere.
