A teapot, creamer and sugar bowl in sterling silver 925, model #600A, Pyramid pattern, designed by Harald Nielsen in 1927 and executed by Jensen & Wendel in Copenhagen between 1945 and 1951. Teapot: width 22.3 cm · height to handle 12.7 cm · weight 712 g. Jensen & Wendel hallmark 1945–1951. Dedicated inscription engraved, dated 1948.

The Jensen & Wendel production period (1945–1951) is one of the most sought-after phases in the house's history: in the immediate post-war period, the Jensen Silberschmiede was temporarily operated under a joint management arrangement, giving pieces from this period a distinctive hallmark and particular collector's value for the informed buyer.

The Pyramid collection — designed by Harald Nielsen from 1927, with direct inspiration from the treasures of Tutankhamun's tomb discovered in 1922 — is one of the most celebrated Art Déco creations of Georg Jensen. The characteristic stepped profile, the sphere and the absolute geometric restraint have earned the Pyramid series a permanent place in museum collections worldwide. Pieces from the collection are held at the Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen, MoMA in New York and Koldinghus in Denmark.

Harald Nielsen (1892–1977), brother-in-law of founder Georg Jensen, was one of the most prolific and influential designers of the Silberschmiede for several decades.
