Sterling silver 925 handles, steel blades. Length forks 18.5 cm · knives 22.5 cm. Georg Jensen hallmark circa 1950. Exceptional condition — virtually mint.

The Pyramid collection — designed by Harald Nielsen from 1927, with direct inspiration from the treasures of Tutankhamun's tomb discovered in 1922 — is one of the most celebrated Art Déco creations of Georg Jensen. The characteristic stepped profile and absolute geometric restraint have earned the series a permanent place in museum collections worldwide. Pieces from the collection are held at the Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen, MoMA in New York and Koldinghus in Denmark.
