Claës Erik Johan Krut Giertta (Solna, 1926 – Stockholm, 2007), Swedish baron, silversmith, sculptor and designer, was one of the leading figures in Scandinavian silversmithing of the second half of the 20th century. Trained at Konstfack — the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm — he opened his own workshop and forge in Stockholm in 1954. In the 1960s, he toured Sweden with fellow silversmiths Rey Urban and Lars Fleming under the name "Tre Smeder" (The Three Smiths), demonstrating how modern silversmithing could unite material beauty with formal innovation. In 1960, together with Margit Sahlin, he designed the ordination cross for the first female ordination in Sweden. In 1969, he created the Grammis trophy — the Swedish equivalent of the American Grammy — a design he maintained until 2007.
His works are represented in the collection of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
