Rare Lille earthenware plate from the Louis XIV period (late 17th or early 18th century) in blue camaïeu / blue shades depicting coat of arms surmounted by a chavaler's helmet with plumes. The coat of arms has 3 birds in its center, identified:
"Azure to 3 merlettes/birds", Bargier du Metz family, Champagne area
Sizes 23cm diameter ; very specific platrie shape of the plate, with a very short and very flat wing.
