Exceptional medieval golded brass Ciboire (circa 2nd part of the 13th century), hinge, clasp and its silver chain,
35cm high and 12cm diameter
Copper with worn gilding, brass gilding body with very beautiful thick gilding outside and interior, conical-shaped lid topped with its original religious cross.
Comes from the STERCKSHOF Museum's collection in Antwerp, which is now closed. Similar one in the National Museum of the Middle Ages of Cluny's collections
