Three-patina "en Régule" Candy Box, Child And Bird – Circa 1900
A charming antique box or candy jar made of nickel silver with three patinas, depicting an egg with a young boy leaning on it, while a bird appears to be emerging from the other end.
The piece features a beautiful polychromatic patina: a nuanced green for the egg, brown for the young boy, and a dark patina for the bird and the ribbons.
The egg is adorned with knotted ribbons and small flowers in relief. It rests on leaf-shaped feet.
The hinged lid reveals an unfinished interior.
Decorative piece in the Art Nouveau style, circa 1900.
Antique patina showing some signs of wear visible in the photographs.
