Executive Armchair By Charles Pollock For Knoll, Burgundy Leather And Chrome
◼ HISTORY & DESIGN
Executive Armchair, a model designed by Charles Pollock in 1963 and produced by Knoll. The designer’s approach centers on a continuous metal band that encircles the shell and holds the upholstery in place, unifying the structure and the seat. The tubular armrests attach to this band, extending the contour of the shell.
