A 327-cm Gate Or Fence With A 94-cm-wide Side Gate
A 327-cm gate or fence with a 94-cm-wide wicket, forged in the 19th century, in perfect condition, ready to install except for painting and locks. They feature riveted railings, alternating between 20-mm and 16-mm diameters in the lower section to create 5.5-cm spaces between the rails, a central frieze featuring a motif of stylized, inverted omega shapes, and, at the top, a set of crooks and a set of back-to-back commas. All of these wrought-iron pieces are connected by molded lead rings. The original hinge mounts have been extended. A pivoting bolt serves as a lock to secure the gate (see our last photo). The cross-sectional area of the frames is 30 mm², and the height of the hinges at the axis is 124 cm.
