"Louis XVI Black Stone Washbasin"
Bowl ovoid face resent, black stone Saint Cyr Mont d'Or (Rhone) period Louis XVI, these pieces adorned the entrance halls of the apartments or buildings of Lyon and served as a "cooler" when returning from out in town. Their dimensions varied, of course, depending on the size of the room.
