Antique Extra-wide Sheet With Matching Pillowcase - Jb Monogram - Late 19th Century

A beautiful set of antique linen consisting of a wide-width sheet and a matching pillowcase, both marked with the monogram "J-B ." Crafted from a tightly woven fabric, this set displays remarkable quality in both material and workmanship, as well as a pleasant drape. The white embroidery, executed with precision, lends the initials elegance and distinct relief. The set is in very good condition. However, please note two small gray marks on the reverse side of the pillowcase, as well as a slight patch of light discoloration just below the monogram on the sheet. This linenset, typical of trousseaus assembled in the 19th century, has a slightly off-white hue. It has been washed and ironed with the utmost care.
