Beautiful silk lampas with a large cherry and golden yellow design in the style of the designer Arthur Martin. A complete display strip, intact along its selvedges, featuring a cherry-red satin background and flowers on a golden-yellow twill background. The Second Empire design is inspired by a grand 18th-century French motif featuring large flowers framed by stylized lace-like ribbons. Wallpaper pasted at both ends with traces of a label. Never hung. Exceptional condition in terms of color and preservation.
