Beautiful section of a precious shaped silk lampas panel with a cream-marbled satin background dating from the Louis XVI period and probably from a dress. Lampas edged with purple cut silk velvet flowers and neo-classical corded stripes. This lampas is very supple supported by a modern cream twill satinette lining. Some fragility of the silk held by its lining. No stains or holes. Beautiful condition.
