Circa 1780, France. A Louis XVI period lampas valance and two headboards with an ice-blue satin ground. Fully lined with period glazed buckram and Nattier blue silk ribbon piping. Naturalistic decoration in cream and silver on a twill ground with palm and ferns. Large, arranged medallions are ribboned with tasseled cord. The two headboard and footboard covers are from the same set, but their buckram lining is missing. Perfect for historical decoration. Excellent durability and no stains, suitable for reuse.
