Marguerite Friedlaender-Wildenhain (1896–1985), a ceramicist trained at the Bauhaus and head of the ceramics studio at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, created the “Hallesche Form” tableware set, considered one of the major achievements of German modernist porcelain.

Trude Petri’s “Goldringe” design combines the functional simplicity inherited from the Bauhaus with the geometric elegance of Art Deco.
