A delightful miniature Wedgwood bowl in mixed-blue lustre (Z4829), circa 1915. Exterior in Mixed-Blue Lustre, light blue flecks and a gold frieze with oriental motifs and serpentine creatures; interior in pearl lustre with a powerful central gold dragon and a gold border. The work of Daisy Makeig-Jones, a major figure in Wedgwood Lustre, whose imagination and mastery of iridescent enamels marked the 1910s.
