An attractive Wedgwood lustre Antique Bowl, Z5068,
c.1915, designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones. The exterior displays a Powder Blue
lustre ground with finely painted multicolour butterflies, the interior lined
in iridescent Mother-of-Pearl lustre with a single butterfly at centre.
Makeig-Jones’ butterfly motifs are prized for their naturalism and color
balance, qualities that made her one of Wedgwood’s most celebrated designers.

Condition: Excellent antique condition, with pale
staining inside not detracting from display.
