Gilded brass mount with a three-pronged "hunter-style" guard, a long-tailed pommel, and oak leaf decoration.
White, curved blade with a half-round profile, a hollow edge, a blood groove, and a counter-edge.
Blade length: 85.5 cm.
Steel scabbard fitted with wide, molded scabbard rings adorned with symbols specific to the artillery of a senior General Staff officer. Crossed cannons set within a wreath of foliage and surmounted by a laurel branch and an oak branch; at the base of the cannons, a cluster of cannonballs.
Total length of the weapon: 104.5 cm.
Set in original condition; the guard retains approximately 70 to 80% of its gilding.
