Yin Yang Swivel Coffee Table By Willy Rizzo, Brass And Glass, 1970s
Two-tier rotating coffee table by Willy Rizzo (1928–2013), Italy, 1970s. Originally trained as a photographer, Rizzo turned to furniture design in Rome in the late 1960s, developing a distinctive repertoire of coffee tables with integrated bar compartments.
The composition echoes the yin-yang motif. The upper, rotating top features emerald-green dyed burl veneer, arranged in a bookmatched pattern. It sits above a very dark brown lacquered wooden disc incorporating a brass tray.
