Pair Of "little Tulip" Armchairs By Pierre Paulin For Artifort, 1965
The Les Merciers gallery is offering this stunning pair of "Little Tulip" armchairs, an organic masterpiece designed by the master of French design, Pierre Paulin, in 1965 and produced by Artifort.
Conceived as a compact version of his large lounge chair, the “Little Tulip” echoes the fluid, enveloping silhouette of a flower in full bloom. Its proportions (seat height of 46 cm) make it a particularly versatile piece, ideal for enhancing a high-end dining table, a home office, or a reception area. The contoured shells are upholstered in a bright green (anise) textured fabric and rest on the iconic circular bases made of polished metal.
Gallery Information: We currently have an exceptional lot of 10 identical armchairs. Please feel free to contact us to purchase a custom set (4, 6, 8, etc.).
