830-thousandths solid silver champagne bucket, Belgian craftsmanship from the early 20th century, circa 1910.

Cylindrical in shape and slightly flared, the lower portion of the body features a regular pattern of engraved twisted ribs, creating a sense of continuous movement across the silver’s surface.

The upper section is encircled by a wide frieze featuring a vineyard motif, crafted using repoussé and engraving techniques, alternating vine leaves and grape clusters against a finely detailed background. A second frieze of foliage motifs highlights the upper rim and completes the composition.

On each side, the bucket is fitted with a movable silver handle, hinged on a lion-headed mascaron rendered in relief. The gripping rings, themselves adorned with foliage motifs, hang freely against the side of the bucket.

The piece thus features a design entirely devoted to the theme of the vineyard, directly related to the object’s function, combining repoussé work, engraving, and polished surfaces.
